초록
이 글은 기록을 이용한 재현 콘텐츠를 개발하는 절차모형을 제시하기 위해 작성되었다. 모든 기록은 본질적으로 대상을 재현할 수 있는 속성을 지니므로, 이러한 속성을 활용하여 재현 콘텐츠를 개발할 수 있다. 재현대상을 건축문화재로 선정한다면 건축문화재 가치와 기록을 분석하고, 이를 토대로 일정한 틀을 적용하여야 한다. 이 글은 이러한 과정을 하나의 프로세스로 정리하여 제시하였다.
Abstract
All records have attribute of representing the object, so archives should develop digital record exhibition to facilitate attribute that representing the object. If building cultural properties are chose as the represented object, it should be followed by analysis of nature values and record contents and applied to the suitable framework. Therefore, this study suggests the organized process of designing the framework which develops digital representing contents based on records.

아카이브 전시는 아카이브의 가치를 높이고 이용자의 관심 및 긍정적인 이미지를 높이는데 기여하는 아카이브의 중요한 업무 중 하나이지만, 아직까지도 활성화가 되지 못하고 있다. 최근 기록콘텐츠를 이용하여 일방적인 정보전달식의 아카이브 전시에서 벗어난 이용자의 관심과 이해를 이끌어낼 수 있는 새로운 전시방안을 시도하고 모색하는 움직임이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 국내 문화유산 기관의 전시 사례들을 종합 분석하여 기록콘텐츠를 활용한 아카이브 전시 활성화 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 기록콘텐츠를 통하여 기록에 대한 이해와 활용을 증진하는 방안에 초점을 두고, 본 연구에서 제안한 아카이브 전시프로그램 개발 전략은 3-way 콘텐츠 기반 전시, 체험 기반 전시, 디지털 환경 기반의 아카이브 전시이다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 이용자의 관심과 이해를 이끌어낼 수 있는 아카이브 전시프로그램 설계에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.
Abstract
Archive exhibitions are one of the important tasks of archives that promote the value of archives and contribute to increasing users’ interest and positive image but have not yet been activated. Recently, there has been a shift from a one-way archive exhibition to a new way to draw attention and understanding from users by using archival contents. This study aims to propose ways to activate archive exhibitions by utilizing archival contents by analyzing the exhibits of domestic cultural heritage institutions. Focusing on ways to improve the understanding and utilization of records through archival contents, the proposed strategy for developing archive exhibition programs is a three-way contents-based exhibition, experiential exhibition, and digital environment-based exhibition. The results of this study are expected to help develop archival exhibition programs that will enhance users’ interest and understanding of records.

대통령기록관 전시관을 방문하는 이용자 중 유치부와 초등학생들의 누적 인원이 전체 이용자의 절반에 가깝지만 이들을 위한 공간이 부족한 실정이며, 대통령기록관에서 실시하는 프로그램은 전시관람 및 현장 견학 수준에 머물러 있다. 아동발달이론에 근거하여 이들을 대상으로 대통령 기록물의 가치를 효과적으로 전달하기 위한 하나의 방법이 체험전시임을 고려할 때, 최근 주목받고 있는 체험경제이론(4Es)이 제시하는 체험요소인 엔터테인먼트(Entertainment), 교육(Education), 현실도피(Escapist), 그리고 미적(Esthetic) 4가지를 적용하여 대통령기록관의 어린이 체험전시관 프로그램을 제안하고자 한다. 어린이 체험전시관을 통해 대통령기록관은 전 시대를 아우르는 문화소통의 장으로 거듭나는 계기가 될 것이다.
Abstract
The space designated for kindergarten and elementary school students, who accounted for half of all users of the presidential archives, is now lacking, with the archives’ programs focusing on exhibitions and field trips. With this, an experience exhibition is seen as the most effective way to communicate the value of presidential records and archives based on the theory of cognitive development. Therefore, this study proposes an experiential exhibition program for children about presidential archives based on the experience economy under theories that are recently getting attention. The Presidential Archives through the Experiential Exhibition program for children proposed by this study will become a place for the cultural communication of all generations.

대통령기록관은 대통령의 국정 운영 기록 및 대통령과 관련된 역사적 기록물을 수집하고 관리하여 국민에게 제공함으로써 국민의 알권리를 충족시키는 특수기관임에도 불구하고, 대통령기록관에 대한 국민의 인지도 및 관련 연구는 미흡한 편이다. 또한 기록관의 현 과제는 보존과 관리도 중요하지만 그에 못지않게 공유․활용․확산에 대한 서비스 제공에 초점을 두어야 할 시점이다. 이에 본 연구는 국민들에게 대통령기록관을 보다 효율적으로 활용하고 홍보할 수 있는 다양한 서비스를 개발할 필요성에 천착하여, 오늘날 각광받고 있는 스토리텔링 전시방법을 제안하였다. 이를 통해 대통령기록관에 대한 긍정적 인식을 제고하고, 유아 및 초등학생들의 단체 방문을 유도할 수 있으며, 향후 기록물 수집정책이나 전시기획에도 도움이 될 것이다.
Abstract
The Presidential Archives collects and manages both the presidential records and historical archives related to the president which it subsequent provides to the people. Regardless of these special duties that meet the people’s right to know, its awareness and study on the Presidential Archives has not been thoroughly satisfied. It is time to focus on providing service to share and utilize records and archives, as well as for preservation and management purposes. Therefore, this study proposes exhibition methods through storytelling, which is well-known, as it pursues the importance of developing various services for a more efficient usage and promotion of the Presidential Archives. This helps raise awareness about the Presidential Archives, attract group visits of children, and provides a good example for collecting archives and planing exhibitions.

정보화 사회의 도래로 아카이브 기관은 대국민 서비스의 일환으로 디지털 기술을 도입하여 보존과 전시에 활용하기에 이르렀다. 본 연구의 목적은 급변하는 기술의 발전으로 인하여 아카이브 전시에 다양한 디지털 기술을 사용하는 것에 대한 필요성을 고찰하는 것이다. 이를 위해 아카이브와 디지털 전시의 개념과 유형을 살펴보고, 아카이브에 디지털 전시방법을 사용할 때 그 활용도를 조사하였다. 또한 구체적인 기록물관리기관의 디지털 전시사례를 조사하였다. 아카이브자료를 웹페이지를 통하여 전시했을 때 가장 큰 장점은 기록물이 가지는 본연의 정보 제공의 기능과 더불어 하이퍼링크 기술을 통한 정보의 무한 확장성을 들 수 있다. 디지털전시의 방법으로 가상현실은 평면적인 아카이브에 입체감과 현실감을 넣어 이용자의 흥미와 관심을 불러일으킨다. 또한 스토리텔링은 온라인상에 이용자와의 커뮤니케이션의 장을 만들어 서로 상호작용을 하며 이 과정까지도 스토리에 반영되어 새로운 콘텐츠로 탄생된다. 이러한 일련의 기능들이 아카이브에 대한 관심과 흥미를 높여 이용자들의 정보의 공유, 참여를 가져오고, 더불어 디지털 전시를 통한 새로운 콘텐츠 자원은 문화 자원과 관광 자원으로 지역사회와 기관을 홍보하므로 아카이브 전시에 다양한 디지털 기술을 사용하는 것은 그 의의가 있다.
Abstract
Recently, the development of information technology (IT) continues to promote the digitalization of archives (valuable records) and has therefore, affected archiving centers. This digitalization is shown to these archiving centers by taking advantages of various digital exhibitions. This study aims to consider why it is necessary to use digital exhibitions in archiving centers. In order to examine the needs of digital exhibitions, this study focuses on some ideas and important roles in digital exhibitions and research cases of online exhibitions applied with digital technology. Consequently, this study derives some values from them. Digital exhibitions held online continuously provide the following; first, a great amount of information about the archives by using hyperlink; second, the ability to recreate the attractive contents of digitalized archives by utilizing virtual reality, which makes the users greatly interested; the third and final thing online digital exhibitions provide is the storytelling it provides, which also serves as an avenue for people to communicate with one another. These processes of communication are also reflected in the story. In addition, they can help publicize not only the archiving center, but also the local community as it promotes cultural and tourism resources.

이 연구는 오픈소스 Omeka를 이용하여 환경 갈등사건의 기록화를 위한 디지털 아카이브 구축 방법론을 모색하기 위한 것이다. 사례로는 장기간 지속되었고 아직도 진행형인 밀양 송전탑 건설 갈등사건을 설정하였다. 먼저 국내외에서 오메카를 활용하여 구축된 아카이브 사례를 조사하였고, 밀양 아카이브 설계를 위한 시사점을 도출하였다. 이를 기반으로 아카이브 구축 방향을 정한 후 기록화 전략 방법론을 적용하여 맥락 분석과 기록조사를 실시하고, 실제로 기록을 수집하여 분석하였다. 기록을 수집․정리하는 과정에서 사건을 재조직하고, 이를 토대로 아카이브 컬렉션의 구조와 전시의 방향을 설정하였다. 기록물 목록을 실험적으로 작성한 후 이러한 목록데이터와 디지털화한 기록을 중심으로 Omeka를 이용한 디지털 컬렉션과 전시를 구현하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to implement the digital archives to document environmental conflicts using open source Omeka. Mi-ryang Transmission Tower Construction Conflict is the selected case because it is very crucial and continues until today for more than 10 years. It begins with analyzing domestic and international cases of archives developed using Omeka. Based on these analysis, it draws the directions of developing Mi-ryang archives. It also investigates and analyzes the Mi-ryang conflicts as the contexts of records creation, acquire the actual records from a Mi-ryang civic group, and finally implement the collections and exhibits of Omeka-based archival system.
