초록
기록관은 다양한 확장서비스 방법들을 활용하여 이용자들에게 홍보를 해야 한다. 그중에서도 견학은 유용한 서비스 방법이나, 기록관 견학에 대한 연구는 거의 없었다. 본 연구는 기록관 견학에 대해 연구하고 바람직한 프로그램을 제안해보기 위해, 대통령기록관을 사례로 연구를 진행하였다. 이를 위해 미국 대통령기록관 네 곳의 사례를 살펴보고 분석하였으며, 국내의 유사기관으로 견학프로그램을 제공하고 있는 김대중 도서관, 외교부 외교사료관과 국립중앙도서관의 견학 프로그램을 살펴보았다. 그리고 현재 대통령기록관에서 제공하고 있는 견학 프로그램을 살펴보고 분석하여 제한점을 확인하였다. 그리고 곧 세종특별시에 단독청사로 이전할 대통령기록관의 특성을 반영하여 다양한 이용자를 대상으로 한 바람직한 견학프로그램 구성 방향을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Archives should promote services to users using various outreach service methods. Although the archives’ tour program is one of the effective means of services, there has been few studies on the archival tour program. This study investigated archival tour programs and tried to suggest a desirable tour program, with the Korean Presidential Archives as a case. For this study, four U.S. Presidential Libraries’ tour programs were investigated and analyzed. Also, tour programs offered in similar organizations in Korea, such as Kim Daejung Library, Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and National Library of Korea, were analyzed. Current tour programs offered by the Korean Presidential Archives were also analyzed and some limitations were identified. Based on the characteristics of the Korean Presidential Archives, which will be moved to independent building in Sejong City soon, desirable direction to organize tour programs for various user groups were suggested.

출처가 다양하고 양적으로 방대한 5.18민주화운동기록물을 활용한 교육프로그램을 제안한다. 교육프로그램에 적용할 교육 모형은 PBL모형으로 다양한 기록물을 제시하고 기록관의 활용을 유도하기에 적합하다. 본 교육 프로그램은 PBL의 기본 형태를 따르되 단계를 다시 이분화하여 수업이전단계와 수업구현단계로 나누고 수업이전단계를 세분화하여 제안하였다. 제시될 기록물은 가로축과 세로축으로 구성되는 격자형 기록물지도를 사용하여 기록물 목록을 확보한 후 기록물을 선별하도록 한다. 본 교육 프로그램의 실현은 기록관 이용의 활성화와 기록물 활용의 확장, 학습자들의 역사의식 고취 등의 기대효과를 가질 것으로 예상되며 주제기록물에 대한 교육프로그램의 제안이라는 점과 학습현장에서 사용할 수 있다는 점에 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study aims to propose an education program using the records and archives of the May 18th Democratic Uprising, which are large in number and have diverse provenance. The PBL model, which is a basic model for this program, is appropriate for suggesting a number of records and inducing the use of archives. This program is based on the rule of PBL but is divided into two parts: a pre-class level and an in-class level. The archives list for this program is selected from the archives map, which consists of a horizontal axis of provenance and a vertical axis of creation time. The expected effects of this program is to vitalize and expand the use of archives and to inspire a student’s historical thinking. This program is meaningful in proposing a proposed education program using the records and archives of a historical event and the probability to use in a real class.

대통령기록관은 대통령의 국정 운영 기록 및 대통령과 관련된 역사적 기록물을 수집하고 관리하여 국민에게 제공함으로써 국민의 알권리를 충족시키는 특수기관임에도 불구하고, 대통령기록관에 대한 국민의 인지도 및 관련 연구는 미흡한 편이다. 또한 기록관의 현 과제는 보존과 관리도 중요하지만 그에 못지않게 공유․활용․확산에 대한 서비스 제공에 초점을 두어야 할 시점이다. 이에 본 연구는 국민들에게 대통령기록관을 보다 효율적으로 활용하고 홍보할 수 있는 다양한 서비스를 개발할 필요성에 천착하여, 오늘날 각광받고 있는 스토리텔링 전시방법을 제안하였다. 이를 통해 대통령기록관에 대한 긍정적 인식을 제고하고, 유아 및 초등학생들의 단체 방문을 유도할 수 있으며, 향후 기록물 수집정책이나 전시기획에도 도움이 될 것이다.
Abstract
The Presidential Archives collects and manages both the presidential records and historical archives related to the president which it subsequent provides to the people. Regardless of these special duties that meet the people’s right to know, its awareness and study on the Presidential Archives has not been thoroughly satisfied. It is time to focus on providing service to share and utilize records and archives, as well as for preservation and management purposes. Therefore, this study proposes exhibition methods through storytelling, which is well-known, as it pursues the importance of developing various services for a more efficient usage and promotion of the Presidential Archives. This helps raise awareness about the Presidential Archives, attract group visits of children, and provides a good example for collecting archives and planing exhibitions.

본 연구는 일상생활에서 끊임없이 생산․유통되는 디지털 개인기록의 관리, 특히 보존을 위한 교육프로그램을 개발하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 해외에서 개인을 대상으로 제공되고 있는 디지털 개인기록 보존교육프로그램 및 지침을 분석하여 교육프로그램의 필수요소를 도출하고, 디지털 개인기록 생산자들과의 설문․면담을 통해 요소를 검증하였다. 이를 토대로 P대학 학부생을 대상으로 실시할 수 있는 교육프로그램의 내용을 설계하고 교육프로그램 지도안을 구성하였다. 지도안은 인식제고, 생산, 관리, 보존을 위한 기록 선별, 보존폴더 생성, 보존용 사본생성, 보존용 사본의 관리의 총 7개로 구성될 것이며, 교육 진행흐름에 맞춰 교육자와 피교육자의 성취목표를 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study was carried out to develop the educational program which can be used in the university library or archives to their students under an aspect that each individual should preserve own personal archives themselves. Based on precedent studies and foreign cases, a survey study on preservation of digital personal archives for the university students was carried out. The educational program of preservation reflected conditions of the undergraduates attending Pusan national university. The educational program is dealt with a total of seven contents including awareness-raising, creation methods, managements methods, selection of archives, construction of preservation folder, construction of preservation copy, and the management of preservation copy.

본 연구는 국내 기록관 중 대통령 기록관에서 제공하는 교육서비스를 해외 기록관과 비교․분석하여 문제점을 발견하였다. 이를 해결하기 위해 유비쿼터스 환경의 기술을 접목하여 대통령기록물활용 교육서비스 모형을 개발했다. 유비쿼터스 기술이 필요한 이유는 기관의 협업을 유기적으로 이루기 위함이며, 이를 정보활용능력을 위해 개발된 BIG 6 모형을 변형해(BIG 8 모형) 적용하였다. 유비쿼터스 기술이 기록관의 교육서비스에 미치는 기대 효과는 교육적 측면, 콘텐츠 개발 측면, 서비스 개발 측면으로 나누어 살펴보았다.
Abstract
This study proposes the formation of education service models using presidential archives based on ubiquitous technology. To accomplish these, this study analyzed various education programs of presidential archives in Korea and other countries. The reason behind the use of ubiquitous technology is to allow interinstitution cooperation and create synergy effects. With this, this technology is grafted onto the modified BIG6 Model, which is developed for information literacy. This study can be useful and valuable in the aspects of education, contents development, and service development.
