초록
이 연구는 우리나라에서의 디지털 아카이브와 보존 연구 동향을 분석하여 그 간의 성과와 앞으로의 방향을 제안하고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 최대한 넓은 범위에서의 연구동향을 확인하기 위해 배경 학문을 불문하고 디지털 아카이브나 보존 관련 키워드를 포함하는 연구논문 115건을 수집하였다. 이를 일반 연구, 정책 연구, 기술 연구와 디지털 자원 유형별 연구의 4가지 주제영역별로 범주화하여 연구의 내용을 분석하였다.
Abstract
The current study aims at reviewing digital archives and preservation research trends from diverse disciplines in order to shed light on what have been accomplished so far as well as what should be done to make progress. A total of 115 research articles have been selected from 2 journals of archival science and 28 journals of library and information science, computer science, and others. Selected articles are categorized into four subject areas. For each subject area, research trends are reviewed.

본 연구의 목적은 지속적인 전자기록의 장기적 보존을 위한 전략과 과제를 제안하고자 하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 전자기록을 포함하여 전자간행물이나 연구데이터 등을 모두 포함하여, 전반적인 디지털 정보자원의 보존 분야에서 개발된 아젠다 연구 결과를 포괄적으로 수집하여 분석하고, 이로부터 추출한 향후 과제를 법제/정책, 연구, 기술 및 파트너십의 네 가지 영역으로 구분하여 제안하였다.
Abstract
The present study aims to develop an agenda consisted of strategies for long-term preservation of electronic records with enduring values. To do this, it has collected 19 cases of agenda reports generated from the digital preservation community at large, including those working on electronic publications and research data as well as electronic records. The study draws its conclusion by proposing an agenda encompassing 4 areas: laws and policies; research; technologies; and partnership.

이 연구는 지난 11년 간의 전자기록 연구 동향을 분석하여 그 간의 성과와 앞으로의 방향을 제안하고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 기록학 분야의 양대 학회지인 한국기록관리학회지와 기록학연구, 그리고 4종의 문헌정보학회지에 실린 논문 중 전자기록을 다룬 논문 57편을 선정하였다. 8가지 세부 주제영역별로 연구의 내용을 분석함으로써, 각 영역의 연구 동향을 살펴보고 더 연구되어야 할 부분을 확인하였다. 전반적인 시사점도 실증연구, 연구방법론, 그리고 학술연구의 기본요건 등 세 가지 측면에서 논의하였다.
Abstract
The current study aims at reviewing electronic records research trends published during the past 11 years, in order to shed light on what have been accomplished so far as well as what should be done to make progress in the field of archival science. A total of 57 research articles have been selected from 2 journals from archival science and 3 journals from library and information science. Selected articles are categorized into 8 subject areas. For each subject area, research trends are analysed. Where further research are needed are also identified. Implications from the analysis are addressed in terms of the need of empirical studies and sound research methodology as well as of the necessity of establishing consensus on what constitutes academic research in archival science.
