초록
문화유산 원형의 콘텐츠화 및 확산을 위하여 온라인 서비스는 다양한 연구에서 강조됐다. 본 연구는 문화유산 콘텐츠 온라인 서비스에 대한 연구를 통해 콘텐츠 조직 및 정보서비스 현황을 조사하고 개선 방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 관련 선행연구 및 국내외 문화유산 기관 온라인 서비스 사례조사, 전문가 면담을 실시하였으며, 콘텐츠 범위 및 종류, 검색서비스, 부가서비스, 확장서비스를 바탕으로 연구를 수행하였다. 시사점으로 콘텐츠는 문화유산 콘텐츠 통합제공, 고품질 콘텐츠 및 콘텐츠의 다양화, 검색서비스는 콘텐츠 계층구조를 통한 검색기능의 유연화, 통제어휘 및 전거데이터 구축을 통한 접근점 확대, 검색방법의 다각화 방안을 제시하였다. 부가 및 확산서비스로는 연구 및 교육콘텐츠의 제공, 큐레이션 기반의 이용자 맞춤형 서비스, 데이터 공개 및 공유, 이용자 참여확대서비스를 제시하였다.
Abstract
Online service has been emphasized in various studies for content uses and diffusion of cultural heritage domain. This study purports to investigate the status of contents organization and information services for online cultural heritage services and to suggest improvement directions. This study conducted case studies and expert interviews based on contents, search systems, additional services, and expansion services. It also suggested an integrated information retrieval service for cultural heritage contents as well as the provision of high-quality content and various types of contents. The flexibility of the search function through the content hierarchy, the expansion of access points through the construction of controlled vocabulary, and authority data were also focused. As an additional service, the study proposed a curation-based, user-customized service, data sets open and share, and user participation.

최근 한반도를 둘러싼 국제 정세가 급변하고 있다. 평창올림픽 개최 전까지만 해도 경색 국면이었던 남북관계가 해빙무드로 전환되어 사회 전반에 걸쳐 통일에 대한 기대감이 고조되고 있으나 한편으로 북한의 전통적인 화전양면(和戰兩面) 전술을 경계해야 한다는 경계의 목소리도 공존하고 있다. 최근 조사에서 드러난 대학생과 청소년층의 낮은 안보의식은 국민들의 확고한 안보의식과 국가관 확립의 필요성을 보여준다. 이를 위해 국가안보의 핵심기관인 육군이 소장한 각종 기록(Army Records)을 온라인 콘텐츠로 재창출하여 제공하는 것이 하나의 방편이 될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 우방국이자 기록관리 선진국으로 평가받는 미 육군 아카이브즈의 온라인 콘텐츠 서비스 현황을 살펴봄으로써 우리 군 기록의 온라인 콘텐츠 서비스 발전방안을 제시하고자 한다.
Abstract
International conditions surrounding the Korean Peninsula have been recently undergoing a sudden change. The South-North relations have been defined by severe tensions for many years; however, since the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, relations between the two nations began to thaw, and expectations of unification have been rising. Nevertheless, some still warn that the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is utilizing a “carrot and stick” tactic. With this, recent research revealed that there is a low sense of national security among college students and teenagers in Korea, which magnified the importance of establishing a strong sense of national security and having a national viewpoint. A way to achieve this is for the army, a core institution of national security, to release army records as online contents. This paper takes an in-depth look into the US Army’s online contents service, a leading national records management system, and seeks to provide development plans for the Republic of Korea Army’s online contents service.

대통령기록물은 당시의 사회성과 국정 운영에 대한 설명책임을 지니고 있는 기록물로써 대통령기록관에서는 이를 보존․관리하며 서비스 하고 있다. 그러나 대통령기록관에서 제공하는 검색시스템과 온라인콘텐츠는 이용자가 이용하는데 불편함이 있다. 보다 나은 기록정보서비스의 확장을 위해 노무현대통령 재임기간에 생산된 기록물을 이용하여 LOD(Linked Open Data)를 통해 이용자들이 편리하게 이용할 수 있는 기록정보서비스를 제공하려 한다. 구체적인 방안은 3단계로 나누었으며, 1단계는 구축방법 설정, 2단계는 온톨로지 설계, 3단계는 RDF변환 및 타 기관과의 연계방안이다. 이를 통하여 대통령기록관의 기록정보 서비스 확장방안을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The Presidential Archives preserve and manage the president's records and archives, which accounts for the social and governmental operations during the president's term of office. However, search systems and online contents provided by the Presidential Archives are difficult to use. This study proposed an LOD-based archival information service for the comfort of users. The proposed service has a better extension of archival information service contents from President Roh's term. The provision of details is divided into three steps: first step sets up the establishment methods, second step creates ontological design, and third step converts it to RDF and connects to other institutions. Through the process, this study suggests an extension of archival information service in the Presidential Archives.

국가기록원 등 많은 기록관에서 온라인 검색도구를 적극 활용하고 있으나 여러 측면에서 개선이 필요한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국가기록원을 중심으로, 호주, 영국, 미국의 국립기록관에서 제공하는 온라인 검색도구 현황을 분석하였다. 또 호주, 영국, 미국 국립기록관의 검색도구를 직접 사용하여 각각의 장단점을 파악해 보도록 하기 위해, 실제 이용자들을 선정하여 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 통한 평가를 실시하였다. 그 결과를 기반으로, 전반적 기능 및 계층별 검색, 검색옵션 및 주제어검색, 검색결과제시, 기록정보콘텐츠 서비스 등의 측면에서 온라인 검색도구의 개선 및 발전 방향을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Many archives, including the National Archives of Korea, use online finding aids. However, in many aspects, they need improvement. In this study, with focus on the National Archives of Korea, the online finding aids of the National Archives of Australia (NAA), The National Archives (TNA) of United Kingdom, and the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) of the United States were analyzed. Focus group interview was administered to users of the archives, identifying the pros and cons of online finding aids of NAA, TNA, and NARA. Based on the results, various improvement and development directions are suggested, including aspects on overall functions and hierarchical search, search options and subject search, representing search results, and archival contents services.

디지털 콘텐츠를 전시하는 방식인 ‘온라인 전시’는 기록관에서 제공하는 또 하나의 기록정보서비스로 자리매김을 하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 오프라인 전시와 같은 역할과 기대효과를 제공할 수 있는 온라인 기록전시를 구축하기 위하여 필요한 기능요건을 도출하고 이에 대한 중요도 순위를 현재 온라인 기록전시 담당자에 의하여 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 온라인 기록전시의 핵심기능 3개를 도출하고 다양한 기능요소를 제안한 32편의 연구로부터 13개의 기능요건을 추출한 다음, 16명의 온라인 기록전시 담당자가 판단하는 기능요건의 상대적 중요도를 분석적 계층분석 방법을 이용하여 측정하였다. 온라인 기록전시 담당자들은 ‘정보전달 기능’, ‘전시효과적 기능’, ‘정보적 기능’ 순으로 중요하다고 하였고 가장 중요하다고 판단한 상위 기능요건은 ‘심미성’, ‘상호작용성’, ‘사용성’, ‘교육적 경험제공성’, ‘홍보 및 전시활성화’이며, 낮은 중요도를 보인 기능요건은 ‘주제적 독창성’과 ‘내용적 포괄성’이다.
Abstract
This study aims to provide the basic functional requirements and degree of importance of online archival exhibitions, which have played an essential role in the records information service lately. It first derived the properties of online archival exhibitions and their functional attributes through literature analysis. Next, it analyzed the degree of importance of functional requirements using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method. As a result, 3 properties and 13 functional requirements of online archival exhibitions were proposed. It was found that the archivists managing the online archival exhibitions considered the most important property to be “Information Transmission,” the second the “Effectiveness of Exhibition,” and the third the “Informative Function.” As for the most critical functional requirements, these are “Aesthetics,” “Interaction,” “Usability,” “Educational Experience Provision,” and “Promotion and Exhibition Activation,” while the least are “Theme Originality” and “Content Inclusiveness.”

본 연구는 디지털 아카이브의 온라인 서비스 개선방안을 위한 연구로써 지역 아카이브의 검색서비스 개선을 위한 고려사항을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 선행연구와 함께 국내 지역 아카이브에서 제공하고 있는 검색도구와 기록콘텐츠 및 컬렉션을 분석하여 평가요소를 도출하였다. 이후 개발된 평가요소 및 항목의 검증을 위해 전문가 5명을 대상으로 면담을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 평가요소 및 고려사항을 통해 기관의 검색서비스를 객관화하여 파악할 수 있을 것이며 향후 실무자들이 업무에 활용할 수 있는 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것이다. 나아가 검색서비스 개선에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
This study aims to propose considerations for improving search services in local archives. In this study, evaluation areas and factors were derived through the analysis of previous research and case studies of finding aids and archival contents in local archives. Afterward, an interview was conducted with five experts to verify the developed evaluation area and factors. Through the evaluation factors and considerations suggested in this study, it will be possible to objectively identify the search service of the institution. In addition, it is expected that practitioners can use it as basic data in the future, and furthermore, it will help improve the search service.

방대한 정보 획득의 공간속에서 보다 명확한 정보를 찾기 위한 요구가 증대됨에 따라 기록관리기관에서 학술연구지원서비스의 제고는 매우 중요하다 볼 수 있다. 2019년 대통령기록관은 영구기록물관리기관에서 유일하게 학술연구지원서비스를 개시하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대통령기록관에서 시행되는 학술연구지원서비스의 미흡한 이용 현황을 파악하고, 대통령기록을 학술 목적으로 이용하고 연구를 진행한 경험이 있는 이용자 8명과의 면담을 통해 문제점과 요구사항 등을 분석하여 대통령기록관의 연구지원서비스 고도화 방안을 제시하고, 이를 기반으로 영구기록물관리기관의 서비스 향상을 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 연구자들은 대부분 온라인 검색을 통해 정보탐색을 하나, 배경지식에 따라 정보격차가 컸고, 정보가 부족하면 연구 범위를 축소시키며, 검색도구, 기록 관리 및 기록 공개 측면에서 문제점이 발생했고, 학술연구지원서비스에 대해 대부분 인지하지 못하였다. 이에 고도화방안을 연구자 간 정보격차 감소, 검색도구 기능의 개선, 기록의 상세한 기술, 지리적 제약의 해소, 학술연구지원서비스 홍보 및 콘텐츠 개발, 주제전문 아키비스트 양성 및 온라인채팅 서비스 제공 등으로 제시하였다.
Abstract
As the demand for finding clearer information amid vast information acquisition increases, the enhancement of academic research services is highly important. In 2019, the Presidential Archives opened the only academic research services among the permanent archives management institutions. This study aims to identify the status of the insufficient use of academic research services implemented in the Presidential Archives, analyze problems and requirements through interviews with users who have used the Presidential Archives for academic purposes and conducted research, suggest a plan to upgrade the research services of the Presidential Archives, and offer a plan to improve the services of archives institutions accordingly. Researchers mostly sought information through an online search, but the information gap was large depending on the background knowledge, and the research scope was reduced because of insufficient information. Moreover, problems occurred regarding search tools, records management, and records disclosure, and most users were unaware of the academic research services. Therefore, the advancement plans entailed reducing the information gap among researchers, improving the search tool functions, creating more detailed descriptions of records, resolving geographic constraints, promoting academic research services and developing content, nurturing subject-specialized archivists, and providing online chatting services.

본 연구의 목적은 영미권 국립보존기록관 인스타그램의 기록정보콘텐츠 사례를 분석하여 국내 기록물관리기관에서의 기록정보콘텐츠 개발을 위한 시사점을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 연구 대상 인스타그램의 개설일, 콘텐츠 수, 팔로워 및 팔로잉 수 등 기본현황을 조사하였으며, 팔로워와 해시태그, 이용자 호응도가 높은 콘텐츠의 내용과 상호작용 유형 등을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 인스타그램을 활용한 기록정보서비스의 확산을 위해서는 모바일 기반 SNS라는 인스타그램의 특성에 맞게 모바일 화면을 통해 직관적으로 확인할 수 있는 이미지와 숏폼 콘텐츠를 제작해야 하고, 주 이용자층의 관심을 끌고 다른 이용자와 공유하며 관계를 형성할 만한 정보적 소통 목적의 콘텐츠를 개발해야 한다. 또한 웹사이트, 유튜브, 블로그 등 기관이 보유한 기존 온라인 자원과의 연계를 강화하고 해시태그의 활용, 유관기관 계정에 대한 팔로잉, 팔로워와 콘텐츠 댓글에 대한 피드백 등 커뮤니케이션을 활성화하여 기관 인스타그램 계정의 노출 및 검색 가능성을 높여야 한다. 본 연구는 인스타그램을 대상으로 기록정보콘텐츠 사례를 연구하고 적용 사항을 제안하였다는 의의가 있으며, 기록 문화 확산을 위한 기록정보콘텐츠의 기획에 도움이 되는 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This study aims to propose implications for the development of archival content of archives management institutions in Korea by analyzing cases of the archival content on Instagram of the national archives in the Anglosphere. The basic information of the research target’s Instagram account, including the creation date, content, and the number of followers, was investigated, and the posts’ contents and interaction types with high user responses were analyzed. As a result, to spread the records information service using Instagram, producing images and short-form content that can be intuitively checked through mobile screens and creating content that will attract the attention of primary users are required. Moreover, it is necessary to develop content for informative communications that can be shared with other users. There is also a need to enhance the exposure and searchability of the institution’s Instagram account by strengthening connections with the institution’s existing online resources and enabling communications, such as using hashtags, following related institutional accounts, and providing feedback on the contents’ comments with followers. This study is meaningful in that it examined cases of archival content for Instagram and suggested their applications, and it can be used as basic data to help plan archival contents to spread the archival culture.

본 연구는 국내 대통령기록관의 소장기록물을 학술적 목적으로 활용하는 이용자들을 위한 서비스를 조사하고 이에 대한 이용자들의 인식을 조사하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 미국의 13개 대통령기록관 웹사이트에서 제공하고 있는 검색, 열람 및 연구지원 서비스의 내용을 분석하였다. 이와 함께 우리나라 대통령기록관 웹사이트에서 제공하는 검색, 열람 및 연구지원 서비스의 내용을 분석하였으며 대통령기록관 직원 3명을 대상으로 한 전화면담 내용을 국내 현황조사에 추가하였다. 또한 대통령기록물을 연구논문 작성에 활용해 본 적이 있는 이용자 3명을 대상으로 전화 면담을 실시하였다. 조사 결과 국내 대통령기록관 검색서비스에 있어 통합 검색과 주제어를 통한 접근 및 연관된 기록물에 대한 검색이 필요하다고 인식되고 있었다. 대통령기록물 열람에 있어 다양한 온라인 콘텐츠의 제공과 함께 정보공개청구의 틀 안에서만 운영되는 열람서비스가 이용자의 요구에 부합하는 기록정보서비스로 변화되어야 함을 제시하였다. 이와 관련하여 이용자의 관심 연구주제와 연관된 기록물을 제시하고 중요한 기록물을 선별하여 제공하는 등 대통령기록관을 중심으로 보다 전문화된 서비스를 제공할 것을 제안하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to investigate services of presidential archives in Korea for users who utilize holdings of the archives for scholarly purposes, as well as to examine users’ perception of the services. For these purposes, the study analyzed the content of 13 U.S. presidential libraries’ Web sites in terms of their research services. In addition, it examined the content of a Korean presidential archives’ Web site regarding its research services. Telephone interviews of three staff members of the presidential archives were conducted to better understand the services. With this, three users who have written research papers by using presidential records were interviewed by telephone. It was found that federated search services, access by subjects, and related records of search results were considered necessary by users. A variety of digitized records should be provided online and the services needed should be changed from mere processing of FOIA requests to archival reference services to meet users’ needs. Congruently, the presidential archives should provide specialized services to offer records relevant to users’ research interests and to provide the compilation of selected records crucial for research.

최근 국내 영화산업은 세계적으로 유명한 영화제의 주요상을 수상하면서 전성기를 맞이하고 있다. 더불어 K-콘텐츠의 국제적 관심과 코로나19 이후 OTT 산업의 성장은 국내 영화산업의 발전을 기대할 수 있는 긍정적인 여건으로 작용하고 있다. 영화제작에 있어 효과음원은 영화 필름을 구성하는 요소 중의 하나로 영상의 분위기와 감성을 표현하는데 중요한 역할을 담당한다. 이에 전주정보문화산업진흥원은 2013년부터 한국적 정서를 갖춘 한국형 효과음원 개발 사업을 추진하였다. 그리고 2021년부터 ‘K-Sound Library’라는 효과음원 아카이브를 일반 대중에게 서비스하고 있는데 데이터베이스 구축 및 시스템의 문제 등으로 그 활용이 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 우리나라 최초의 효과음원 아카이브인 ‘K-Sound Library’의 온라인 서비스에 대해 음향 전문가들과 인터뷰를 실시하여 현 서비스의 문제점을 도출하였다. 그리고 인터뷰 및 해외사례 분석 결과를 바탕으로 효과음원의 분류체계 및 검색서비스의 사용성을 향상시키기 위한 개선방안을 제안하였다.
Abstract
In recent years, the film industry in South Korea has experienced a period of prosperity, evidenced by the numerous awards won at major international film festivals. Furthermore, growing global interest in K-content and the expansion of the OTT industry following the COVID-19 pandemic are providing favorable conditions for the development of the domestic film industry. Sound effects play a crucial role in conveying the atmosphere and emotions of a film, making them an essential element of film production. In response, the Jeonju IT & CT Industry Promotion Agency has been promoting the development of Korean-style sound effects since 2013. Furthermore, the agency launched an online service called the “K-Sound Library,” a sound effect archive, in 2021. However, the service has not been widely utilized because of issues with the database’s construction and the system’s problems. Therefore, this study aims to identify the K-Sound Library’s problems through interviews with sound effects specialists about the online service of the first sound effect archive in South Korea. Based on the interviews and analyses of foreign cases, the study suggests ways to improve the search services’ usability and the sound effects classification system.
