초록
본 연구는 국가기록원 나라기록넷띠 서포터즈 활동 현황을 분석하여 서포터즈 활동을 통한 국가기록원 홍보라는 궁극적 목적을 달성할 수 있도록 나라기록넷띠 운영 및 활동 전반에 대한 제언을 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 국가기록원 홈페이지, 나라기록넷띠 네이버 공식 카페 등을 통해 2016년부터 2020년까지의 최근 5년간의 서포터즈 활동 및 운영에 대한 자료를 수집하였으며 미국 NARA의 시민 아카비스트 대시보드와 호주 NAA의 하이브 프로그램을 살펴보았다. 이를 통해, 나라기록넷띠의 온⋅오프라인 활동과 국가기록원의 서포터즈 운영에 있어서의 문제점을 파악하고 다음과 같은 개선방안을 제시하였다: 1) 서포터즈가 게시하는 글의 차별성을 담보할 방안에 대한 고려가 필요하다. 2) 적절한 태그의 활용과 태그를 다양하게 지정하도록 할 필요가 있다. 3) 관리자에 의한 그리고 서포터즈 상호간의 적극적 피드백이 필요하다. 4) 창의적인 홍보물 창작을 독려할 방안이 필요하다. 5) 오리엔테이션 등의 교육 프로그램 운영이 필요하다. 6) 세분화되고 명확한 기준에 의한 평가를 통한 인센티브 제공이 필요하다. 7) 서포터즈에 대한 인지도를 높이기 위한 홍보가 필요하다. 8) 국가기록원 홈페이지를 통한 홍보가 필요하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to make suggestions on the activities and operations of the National Archives of Korea’s (NAK) Nara Archives Netti supporters, whose ultimate objective is to promote NAK. Data were collected about supporters’ online and off-line activities through the NAK website and supporters’ official Naver Cafe entries from 2016 to 2020. Furthermore, the cases of the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration’s (NARA) Citizen Archivist Dashboard and the National Archives of Australia’s (NAA) Hive were also studied. Based on the results, suggestions on the necessary changes or additions to the online/off-line activities of operations by NAK were made as follows: 1) ensuring the differentiation of posts, 2) using appropriate tags and selecting various ones, 3) giving active feedback from managers and other supporters, 4) encouraging creative promotional materials, 5) operating educational programs, 6) giving incentives based on detailed and clear criteria, 7) promoting to raise awareness of supporters, and 8) promoting through the NAK website. By adopting the above suggestions made by this study, the promotional purpose of NAK’s supporters will be achieved.

방대한 정보 획득의 공간속에서 보다 명확한 정보를 찾기 위한 요구가 증대됨에 따라 기록관리기관에서 학술연구지원서비스의 제고는 매우 중요하다 볼 수 있다. 2019년 대통령기록관은 영구기록물관리기관에서 유일하게 학술연구지원서비스를 개시하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대통령기록관에서 시행되는 학술연구지원서비스의 미흡한 이용 현황을 파악하고, 대통령기록을 학술 목적으로 이용하고 연구를 진행한 경험이 있는 이용자 8명과의 면담을 통해 문제점과 요구사항 등을 분석하여 대통령기록관의 연구지원서비스 고도화 방안을 제시하고, 이를 기반으로 영구기록물관리기관의 서비스 향상을 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 연구자들은 대부분 온라인 검색을 통해 정보탐색을 하나, 배경지식에 따라 정보격차가 컸고, 정보가 부족하면 연구 범위를 축소시키며, 검색도구, 기록 관리 및 기록 공개 측면에서 문제점이 발생했고, 학술연구지원서비스에 대해 대부분 인지하지 못하였다. 이에 고도화방안을 연구자 간 정보격차 감소, 검색도구 기능의 개선, 기록의 상세한 기술, 지리적 제약의 해소, 학술연구지원서비스 홍보 및 콘텐츠 개발, 주제전문 아키비스트 양성 및 온라인채팅 서비스 제공 등으로 제시하였다.
Abstract
As the demand for finding clearer information amid vast information acquisition increases, the enhancement of academic research services is highly important. In 2019, the Presidential Archives opened the only academic research services among the permanent archives management institutions. This study aims to identify the status of the insufficient use of academic research services implemented in the Presidential Archives, analyze problems and requirements through interviews with users who have used the Presidential Archives for academic purposes and conducted research, suggest a plan to upgrade the research services of the Presidential Archives, and offer a plan to improve the services of archives institutions accordingly. Researchers mostly sought information through an online search, but the information gap was large depending on the background knowledge, and the research scope was reduced because of insufficient information. Moreover, problems occurred regarding search tools, records management, and records disclosure, and most users were unaware of the academic research services. Therefore, the advancement plans entailed reducing the information gap among researchers, improving the search tool functions, creating more detailed descriptions of records, resolving geographic constraints, promoting academic research services and developing content, nurturing subject-specialized archivists, and providing online chatting services.
