초록
사회의 다양한 모습을 기록으로 남기려는 민간 공동체 아카이브 구축이 증가함에 따라 사회적 소수자들에 대한 아카이브 구축에 대한 관심도 증가하였다. 이에 성적 소수자들의 기록에 초점을 맞추어 국내 퀴어 아카이브인 ‘퀴어락(Queerarch)’을 중심으로 기록물 구축현황을 알아보고 퀴어기록의 특성과 퀴어락 기술요소의 문제점을 파악하였다. 퀴어락 기술요소의 문제점으로 제시된 집합적 기술과 다계층 기술의 부재, 퀴어 기록의 특성을 충분히 반영하지 못했다는 점을 보완할 수 있는 방안을 마련하고자 ISAD(G), MAD, RAD 등의 기술규칙을 참고하여 새로운 기술요소를 제안하였다.
Abstract
With the increase in private and community archives to record various different shapes and forms of societies, the establishment of archives for social minorities has heightened. In line with these changes, this study analyzed the Korean queer archives “Queerarch,” which focus on records and archives on sexual minorities. This study examined the current status of the archives of Queerarch, and grasped the characteristics of the queer archives and the problems of archival description elements. The current archival description elements used in Queerarch do not fully reflect the characteristics of the queer archives and the multilayer description method. To solve these problems, this study proposed a metadata schema that includes archival description elements that are based on archival description standards such as the General International Standard Archival Description (ISAD (G)), Manual of Archival Description (MAD), Rules for Archival Description (RAD), and others.

최근 동물권 운동은 사회적 약자를 위한 사회운동 중 하나로서 인정받기 시작하였으며, 우리 사회의 새로운 사회적․정치적 관점을 형성하고 있다. 이 연구는 액티비즘 아카이브의 관점에서 동물권 운동 아카이브를 탐구한다. 동물권 운동 아카이브에 적용할 수 있는 공동체 아카이브의 원리를 네 가지로 정리하여, 아카이브의 유형에 따라 그 원리들이 어떻게 작동하는지 검토하였다. 그 유형들 중 액티비즘 아카이브를 선택하여, 동물권 아카이브가 갖는 사회적 의미와 쟁점을 검토하였다. (사)동물보호시민단체카라의 사례에서 액티비즘 아카이브의 쟁점을 살펴보았다.
Abstract
As the animal rights movement has recently gained recognition as a social movement that represents one of society's minorities, it is now creating a new social and political perspective in the Korean society. This paper explores animal rights through their activism archives. The principles of community archives that can be applied to the animal rights movement are organized into four categories, and how the principles work according to the types of archives. Among these, the activism archive was selected, and the social meaning and issues of the animal archive were examined. We reviewed the issues of the activism archive in the case of KARA.
